• Local browser settings, such as LIA output mode and previously approved voice preferences.

Please avoid sending passwords, payment information, medical records or other sensitive or confidential details through LIA or the contact form.

Why we use it

We use this information to respond to enquiries, route requests to an appropriate business area, deliver LIA answers and speech, operate the site, prevent abuse and meet applicable legal obligations. Where required by law, processing is based on informed consent or another applicable legal ground.

LIA and third-party AI processing

LIA is an AI-powered assistant, not a human agent. When you send a message to LIA, relevant conversation text and instructions are processed through secure website infrastructure and external AI service providers to generate text and, where selected, speech.

Depending on the service arrangement, submitted messages and generated responses may be retained for security and abuse prevention, reviewed by authorized personnel, or used to improve AI services. Please do not share sensitive or confidential information. We may change technology providers while maintaining appropriate privacy safeguards and updating this notice when necessary.

Infrastructure, recipients and international transfers

Specialized third-party providers support the website's hosting, security, communications and AI functions. These providers may receive technical data and information submitted through the features they operate. Personal data may be processed outside Panamá, subject to applicable data-protection requirements and appropriate safeguards. Information about recipients is available where required by law.

Storage and retention

LIA maintains conversation context while a chat is active. Our website does not keep a separate permanent archive of LIA conversations. The browser may store selected user preferences. Service providers may retain technical records or conversation content for security, abuse prevention or service operations under the applicable arrangements. Contact enquiries are kept only as long as necessary for the enquiry, legitimate follow-up or legal obligations; a specific deletion schedule should be confirmed before commercial launch.

Cookies and local storage

The current website does not include our own advertising pixels or behavioral analytics cookies. Essential hosting and security services may use cookies or similar technologies, and LIA stores selected preferences in the browser. If we introduce optional analytics, advertising or other non-essential tracking, we will update this notice and introduce any consent controls required by applicable law before enabling that tracking.

Your privacy rights

Panamá’s Law 81 of 2019 and Executive Decree 285 of 2021 govern personal-data protection where applicable.
